PLA works well for clean visual models and straightforward prototypes. PETG is a common direction for functional parts and enclosures.
MATERIAL SELECTION
Materials for 3D printing
We select material around function, temperature, loads, appearance, geometry and project budget.
TPU, ABS/ASA and PA
TPU is used for flexible parts. ABS/ASA may suit technical parts and tougher conditions, while PA is considered for selected applications that justify its preparation requirements.
Reinforced materials
Reinforced variants are discussed individually based on availability, geometry and actual loads.
